After the end of the Second World War, in a boat going from France to South America, Laura meets Jaime. When they arrive, Laura looks for her lover Ricardo while Jaime prepares to marry his girlfriend Sofia. On a stormy night, a political coup occurs and destiny reunites Laura and Jaime.
