IMDb上的简介是【This documentary tries to unravel the various mysteries around the identity, life and work of the reclusive author.】结果看下来跟托马斯品钦一点关系没有，更像是私生饭采访实录，尤其品钦前女友大谈私生活还跑到陌生人家敲门要带camera crew进去拍品钦曾经住过的地方，我突然意识到海报中的[p.]指的是Pynchomania，其实围绕作品也有不少争论可拍比如Cow Country，可惜本片只是拍摄不同的人声称自己在某个场合遇过品钦，再描述一下外貌，每个人都认为自己遇到的才是真品钦，最后真的挺疯的。不少人抱怨配乐，我倒觉得诡异又paranoia的配乐加上大量意义不明的stock videos跟影片里被采访者那种病态的obsession很配。
在紧张刺激的情节中穿插着幽默的对话和场景，为影片增添了不少乐趣。
角色设定过于单一，缺乏深度和层次感，难以引起观众的共鸣。
看完之后，Thomas Pynchon: A Journey Into the Mind of P.整体氛围做得可以，属于越往后看越顺的那种，没什么特别硬伤。
